Hello! Hope you’re okay! Today’s blog post is all about how to prevent acne! I’ve included some things that I’ve started doing to help prevent acne in this post and they are definitely helping! I’m not a skincare expert but I want to share some of the tips I’ve learned! Most of these tips are easy things to do in your daily life and they don’t involve skincare! I hope you like this post and comment tips on how you prevent acne!

Wash Makeup Brushes Regularly
This is something I need to get into the routine of doing because I know it will make a big difference! Even if you don’t use your makeup brushes all the time, it’s important to wash your brushes at least every two weeks to clean them. I recently bought the real techniques brush cleansing balm to wash my brushes with and it’s so simple to use!
Have Makeup Free Days
It’s also a good idea to have makeup free days sometimes to help your skin breathe! When I don’t wear makeup for a while, I see a difference in my skin so it’s definitely worth trying it monthly if you wear makeup often! Also, try to use makeup products (and skincare products) that don’t clog up your skin to prevent acne!

Replace Towels/Pillow Covers
This is a small thing you should do regularly to help prevent acne. I recommend replacing them once a week and also changing the side over halfway through the week! It just makes sure that after you’ve done your skincare routine, you don’t make your skin unclean again!
Do Your Skincare Routine Everyday
It might be hard to do your skincare routine everyday at first but once you get into the routine, you don’t forget to do it! If you choose the right skincare products for your skin, your skin will be healthy and you’ll prevent acne! Check out my How To Build An Effective Skincare Routine for tips on how to find the best skincare products for your skin!
Drink Water
I’ve mentioned this before but I’ll mention it again because it’s so important to stay hydrated throughout the day! I used to not drink enough and my skin wasn’t doing great but now that I drink more water, it is more hydrated and healthy!
