Haircare Tips For Healthy Hair

Hello! Hope you’re okay! Today’s post is all about haircare tips for healthy hair! I would say that my hair is quite healthy (I have mid length hair) and I use most of the tips in this post which I have learned! I hope you like this post and comment some of your haircare tips!

Use Heat Protection Spray

I don’t use heat all the time on my hair but I always try to use a heat protection spray each time. The product that I use is TRESemme Care & Protect Heat Defence Spray and it’s a good product. If you use heat on your hair everyday, you should definitely use a heat protection spray before applying heat so that your hair doesn’t get damaged!

Choose A Shampoo/Conditioner That Is Suited For Your Hair Type

You can get shampoo and conditioner that are personalised to your hair type and goals but there are also plenty of hair ranges that have different products for different hair types! I haven’t got a shampoo/conditioner that is suited for my hair at the moment but comment some of your favourite brands!

Replace Your Hairbrush At Least Every 6 Months

I would recommend getting a bamboo hairbrush because they are a lot better for the environment when you get rid of them. Also make sure to remove the hairs from the brush often and you could also clean it with just soap and water every one/two weeks to keep it clean. Sometimes I used to forget to replace my hairbrush regularly but now I’ve got in the routine of buying a new hairbrush around 6 months later.

Don’t Use Too Many Hair Products & Don’t Use Too Much Of Them

Make sure to only use a small number of hair products daily to keep your hair healthy! I used to apply too much hair oil and it caused my hair to get greasy very quickly and it didn’t look good. Try and apply a small amount of hair products to begin with and then add more if needed.

Dry Shampoo Is An Essential

Dry shampoo is a great product for quickly fixing your hair! It helps prevent your hair from getting greasy and it adds some volume. Make sure to brush/rub it in well so you can’t see any white patches in your hair. My favourite dry shampoo is the batiste dry shampoos because they have really nice scents and they work well!

  1. Love this post! Also I was putting oil into my hair when wet then drying and straightening, but was told never to put oil in before heat products as you are essentially frying your hair! Glad came across your blog. Ive followed you, and can’t wait to see your future posts!

  2. I try to avoid dry shampoo because I have a naturally dry scalp and find the powdery texture really bad for my scalp health but I miss it, that volume boost is great. I only brush my hair when I wash it because it’s curly, but finding the best shampoo and conditioner for your hair is sooo important x
