Hello! Hope you’re okay! Today’s blog post is about easy and simple self care ideas! Last month, I didn’t practice much self care so I’ve made it one of my goals for this month to practice more self care! Self care has so many mental and physical benefits so you should try and do at least one form of self care a day! It’s a great idea to have a self care night after a long, busy day to de-stress and relax! I hope you like this post and comment your favourite form of self care!

Listening To Music
This could be listening to your favourite songs or some relaxing music. I listen to music a lot (as you can probably tell from my blog posts) to help de-stress and it motivates me. Listening to music is something you can do in the evenings after a long day but also in the morning, on breaks, and while doing other activities.
Doing Your Skincare Routine
Doing your skincare routine at night is simple and effective self care because not only is your skin going to benefit from it, it also makes you feel pleased that you are looking after your skin. You could add extra steps once or twice a week (using a face mask, exfoliating and more) to further help your skin but even when you’re busy, doing your skincare routine is important!
Watching Your Comfort TV Show/Movie
I love watching my comfort TV show (Friends) in the evening because it distracts me from everything else that has happened and it makes me happy! You could treat yourself to your favourite snacks or drinks as well and it is a great way of practicing self care. Watching TV is one of my favourite forms of self care because it’s entertaining and easy!

Making Time For Your Hobbies
This can be hard when you are busy/stressed but even just 30-60 minutes a day is good for doing your hobby (practicing an instrument, a sport, baking, etc). I try to do this everyday because it’s something fun to do and you are giving yourself a break from day to day activities.
Getting Enough Sleep
Getting enough sleep has so many benefits but we are all guilty of not getting enough sleep when we are busy. It can be hard but getting as much sleep as you can helps you to recharge for the new day and you will be more motivated/productive!
Time for your hobbies is extremely important! I love reading, suduko, blogging etc as my hobbies and I find that I am so much happier when I do these hobbies. Thanks for sharing!

These are some great suggestions for self-care, all very easy to fit into our daily routines. I’ve just finished my 7-series favourite show and am about to start another one now!

These are great self-care practices. I enjoy watching anime on evenings as a way to unwind after working all day and I make it a priority to get 7 1/2 hrs of sleep or more every night.
