My Skincare Journey – Part 3

Hello! Hope you’re okay! Today’s post is part 3 of my skincare journey! Thank you so much for the support on the previous blog posts! If you haven’t already, make sure you check out Part 1 and Part 2 of my skincare journey to see which products I am using and how I am progressing! I hope you like this post and comment what your favourite skincare products are!

Last Month’s Goals

  • Use a face mask a few times – yes, I managed to use a face mask a lot more than last month!
  • Use my hand cream more often – kind of, I used it more than last month but I still don’t think I’ve used it enough.
  • Have a bath a few times and use the bath salts – kind of, I managed to have a bath using the bath salts this month but next month, I’ll hopefully have more baths.
  • Eat healthy throughout the weekdays – no, I wasn’t very healthy this month but my aim is to be healthier next month.


My skin is improving a lot and my routine is definitely helping it! My face feels a lot smoother and my acne has got better. Most of my acne at the moment is underneath the skin and it is less visible which makes me feel more confident!

Body Acne

My body acne has been a bit up and down this month which is annoying. I think the soap is still helping reduce acne but it’s not enough. I am going to get a new product for my body which will hopefully help more (look out for that and my initial thoughts on the product next month).


I’ve been sticking to my cleanser, serum, moisturiser routine pretty much every day which is great! I did have to go a few days without using the serum that I usually use because it ran out and I was waiting for the new one to come but other than that I’ve used the products twice a day for this month. I think using the serum twice a day has helped my skin a lot more (the only problem is it’s quite a small product so it runs out quickly).

I’m still using the first soap out of the pack of three which is amazing because it means that I won’t have to buy more soaps for a long time! I think that I might start using the soap twice a day sometimes because I think that might help a lot more than just using it once every day!

Products I Am Going To Buy Soon

  • Body wash specifically for body acne (I’ve seen one that I like but I’m not sure if I’m going to get it yet)
  • Exfoliator (to help get rid of blackheads and small blemishes)

Goals For This Month

Some of these goals are quite similar to last month’s goals but I have simplified or increased them for this month!

  • Use a lip balm most days
  • Try to use a face mask every week
  • Have at least one week of healthy eating
  • Use the soap twice a week occasionally

  1. I really enjoying reading your updates and following you on this journey. One of my goals this year was to use lip balms daily and I found applying it just before I went to bed really helps.

  2. Lip balm is a lip lover! I usually have some on hand as much as possible, though there is nothing like water to keep our skin hydrated. Best of luck with your goals; love that you are adapting and learning as you go along. Skin changes so it is good to keep an eye on what is working. 🙂

  3. Aw, love this! So happy to read you’re taking proper care of your skin! My doctor put me on retinol treatments so it’s been a rough week for me! My face is blotchy, sensitive and soooo dry. I need to find a product for my body acne too! Keep me updated xx

  4. Thanks for sharing your skin care goals. I don’t use hand cream or exfoliate nearly as often as I should and will try and step up my game.
