Hello! Hope you’re okay! Today’s post is all about how to look after your skin this winter! Your skin can change and become dry in winter so make sure to look after it well! Here are some tips that you can use and I hope will help your skin at wintertime! Comment if you have any skincare tips for winter!
Disclaimer – I am not a skincare expert, I am just providing tips that I have learned in the past.
Put On SPF Daily
SPF is still so important to wear in the winter. This is because UV rays are present at the same strength all year. Wearing SPF daily prevents your skin ageing and protects your skin from becoming damaged by the sun. You should wear SPF even when you are inside because the UV rays can pass through windows.
Use a Heavier Moisturiser
Your skin gets more drier in winter so you should stop this by using a heavier moisturiser. Even if you have oily skin, I still recommend using a heavier moisturiser than usual or using a moisturiser more frequently because your skin will get drier in the winter.
Don’t Forget To Moisturise Your Body
This is something that I forget quite a lot! Make sure to moisturise your body not just your face because your body also can become drier in winter. Moisurising your hands with a hand cream/lotion is also important so I make sure to always use one in the morning and at night to prevent dry hands! Don’t forget to use lip balm too!
Wash Your Face After A Bath
As the weather is colder, we like to have warm baths to warm up. The heat from the bath makes our skin sweat and that is not good for our skin. Always make sure to wash your face after the bath to get rid of the sweat and to prevent breakouts.

These are some great tips! I should look after my skin much better, luckily my moisturizer has SPF in it which makes it a tiny bit better aha x
