My Self Care Routine

Hello! I hope everyone is okay! Today I am going to be sharing with you my self care routine. Self care is so important so I try to do this at least once a week! Even when you aren’t busy, you should still take some time for yourself to relax. I hope this blog post gives you some ideas on how to practice self care! Comment what you do to practice self care!

Have A Bath & Watch My Favorite TV Show

My favorite thing to do on self care nights is to have a bath. It is so relaxing and I love to use some bath bombs or bubble bath! Whilst I am in the bath, I usually watch an episode of one of my favorite TV shows which is really nice!

Wear Some Comfy PJ’s

I love wearing comfy pj’s especially on cold nights. This makes me more relaxed and warmer if it is cold. I also love wearing my dressing gown on top because it is so cozy and it dries my hair if it is wet.

Do My Full Skincare Routine

I always make sure to do my full skincare routine on my self care nights to look after my skin more. If you want to check out my full skincare routine, check out my skincare routine blog post to see what I do!

Make A Hot Chocolate & Have Some Snacks

I love hot chocolates because they taste so nice and they are perfect for cold nights! I also like having snacks with it to treat myself! I usually have these while watching a bit of TV before I go to bed.

Listen To Some Relaxing Music

Before I go to sleep, I like to listen to some relaxing and slow music because that helps me fall asleep quicker! I usually listen to music for around 20-30 minutes before I go to sleep because it is nice and doesn’t take a lot of energy. Let me know in the comments if you want to see a relaxing music playlist!

  1. I do a full skincare routine every night and it always makes me feel good. I do it for my skin, but something about looking after your body physically definitely has an impact on both my physical and mental self care 🙂 great post x
