5 Ways To Transform Your Bedroom

Hello! I hope everyone is okay! Today’s blog post is 5 ways to transform your bedroom. You can either do all 5 of these for a big transformation or just 1 to change things up slightly. Recently I have been changing up my bedroom to make it look better and organise my stuff. Comment if you will be doing any of these things!

1. Rearrange Furniture

Rearranging your furniture makes a big difference to your room and it can help to make everything more organised and accessible. Make sure to plan it beforehand so you know exactly where everything will go and get some people to help you if you are thinking of moving heavy items.

2. Repaint Your Walls A Different Colour

If you want a major transformation, repainting your room will definitely make a big change. There are so many different colours and shades of colours that you could use. If you want a simplistic room, I would recommend white, cream or grey. For a bolder room, I would recommend black, pink or blue.

3. Buy Some New Homeware

I love buying new homeware and I try to make sure it all matches with the theme of my room. You could get some candles, plants, pillows and fairy lights. I recommend going to primark, dunelm or ikea because they have amazing homeware ranges for all bedrooms. I also like to change up my homeware for different seasons and holidays!

4. Have A Clearout

Having a clearout declutters your room and gives you more space. You could declutter drawers, wardrobes or any other hidden spaces. I would recommend you do this at least once a month so it doesn’t get too messy.

5.Hang Stuff On Your Walls

Hanging stuff on your walls makes your room look nicer. It also can fill empty spaces but make sure to keep a bit of your wall plain for taking photos. You could hang up photo frames, shelves or signs.

  1. I love transforming my bedroom every once in a while! Getting rid of things I don’t need is probably my favorite way to do so. I always find something unnecessary that’s only taking up space in my room. It’s the same when I clear out my wardrobe. 😀
Also, I love hanging up pictures on my wall. I think it gives the room a more aesthetic look and I’m all about aesthetics. ❤ Great post!

  2. I desperately want to revamp my room but I’m in a rented house that came with furniture and mine is now in storage! It’s such a tight squeeze to rearrange it too! Decluttering is a great tip though and something I do frequently

  4. I don’t think rearranging the furniture and decluttering get enough credit for room transformations. Sometimes they make a world of difference and it costs nothing! Great suggestions, thank you 🙂 Lisa

  5. We have just moved in to our recently finished attic bedroom and oh man I love it!

We went for a bold blue colour with rose gold photo gallery wall and we’ve stripped back so much stuff so it’s quite minimalist and I couldn’t be happier.

    Brilliant advice here x

  9. Fantastic tips! We love to rearrange the furniture in our bedroom which is strange because our bed only fits in one place so it’s just moving everything else around for a small change of scenery. Long overdue a clearout though…
