April Favorites

Hello! I hope everyone has had a good weekend. I know this is late but in this blog post I will be sharing with you my April favorites. Last month I have definitely discovered some really good new things but I have also rediscovered things I haven’t used/seen in a while. I will be sharing about TV shows, music, skincare and makeup that I have been loving in April.

TV shows

There are two TV shows that I have been loving this April and they are:

I have been obsessed with glee since I decided to watch it on Netflix. This came out quite a while ago but I didn’t know it was on Netflix until recently. I have only just finished season 2 because there are a lot episodes in each season and I can’t wait to start season 3 because season 2 was incredible. The characters are very good and the story line is amazing. The songs and singing is incredible.

Dead to me

This is a show that I have rediscovered. I watched it last year but I decided to re-watch it because I had forgotten quite a lot of the story line and also because season 2 came out on Friday! I have already watched a few episodes of season 2. It is so interesting because of the drama happens in each episode and I definitely recommend watching it.

In April, there was two albums I was obsessed with and one single which were:

Heartbreak Weather by Niall Horan

This was actually released in mid March but I have been listening to it a lot in April. When the album release was announced, I was so excited because I really liked Niall’s previous album. I listened to Nice to Meet Ya a month after it was released and then I listened to Put a Little Love On Me and No Judgement on their release dates. When Heartbreak Weather came out, I was obsessed with it (I still am now) and I love all of the songs. My favorite songs are Black and White and Small Talk.

Future Nostalgia by Dua Lipa

I had heard a lot of people saying they liked this album so I decided to give it a listen. It is so good and I have been listening to it so much recently. I had already heard don’t start now and physical on the radio previously and really liked both of the songs. I would say my favorite song from the album is boys will be boys because it’s such a powerful song.

Break Up Song by Little Mix

Again this was actually released towards the end of March but I have listened to this song so many times last month. I am a big fan of Little Mix so when this was announced, I was so excited. I listened to it straight away once it was released and it is an amazing song. The vocals and lyrics are incredible! I recommend listening to it and watching the lyric video and the music video which came out on Friday.

Recently I have been trying to take care of my skin more and these products work amazingly.

L’Oreal Paris Pure Clay Face Mask

Superdrug – £7.99

I brought this from amazon at the start of April and it’s really good. I’ve only used it twice but after using it, my skin feels cleaner and refreshed. I’m definitely going to be using it more this month and it’s perfect for pamper nights.

Nivea Express Primer Gel-Cream

Superdrug – £5.25

This is something that I have rediscovered. I got this in a nivea gift set around Christmas time but I didn’t really use it that much. However, last month I used it pretty much every day and it is so moisturising. I have nearly used it up and I definitely want to repurchase it. It can be used as both a primer and a moisturiser which is useful.

There are few products that I have tested or retested in April that I love.

Sleek MakeUP Black Utopia Volumising Mascara

LookFantastic – £8.99

I got this in a gift set in the Christmas sales but I hardly used it. Last month I have been testing makeup, I tried this and it’s amazing. As it says in the name, it is very volumising and lengthening which is what I like in a mascara. It’s not very clumpy as long as you apply it carefully.

L’Oreal Paris True Match The One Concealer

Superdrug – £7.99

This is something that I used to love a few years ago but then I brought other concealers once I had used it up. I brought it at the start of April and I have used it quite a few times this month. I use the shade 1N and it goes really well with my foundation. I would say it’s a medium coverage which is my preferred coverage and it doesn’t cake up.

I Heart Revolution Donuts Raspberry Icing Eyeshadow Palette

Superdrug – £5

I brought this around November time but I didn’t really use it much and I hadn’t tested all of the shades. I used it twice in April and it’s really nice. The shades are pigmented and the colours are pretty. Also with this palette, you can either do a natural eyeshadow look or if you wanted a bold look with the brighter colours. The packaging is so cool and it is quite small.

Thank you for reading! Please comment your April favorites because I would love to hear them and like if this interested you.
